We can organise items using the storage you already have; buying containers or fitting shelves is discussed before anything is added. Removal of unwanted belongings also needs its own arrangement.

Part of the jobOur help
Choosing what to keepWe work through the belongings with you and discuss what you want to keep, relocate or remove. Your choices guide the sorting. Items needing more thought can be left for your decision, and private papers or possessions you want untouched remain separate.
Arranging cupboards and shelvesWe sort and arrange the cupboards, shelves or room areas included in the booking. We group the items according to the arrangement discussed with you, keeping the available space and the way you use the room in mind while putting belongings in place.
Finding a practical placeWe arrange the belongings you are keeping in the existing storage agreed for them. Frequently used items and things stored for occasional use can have different places. We go through the arrangement with you so you know where the reorganised belongings have been put.
Packing and unpacking by agreementWe can pack or unpack household items when this is included in your quotation, putting them into the existing storage agreed for each room. We confirm the boxes, destinations, handling limits and packing materials first. Transport, substantial lifting, installation and waste removal are arranged separately.
Organising the belongings you live with
At homeWhat we do
Your choices come firstWe ask how you use the space and which belongings you want to keep. You decide whether an item stays, moves to another room or is set aside for removal. We can help work through those choices while keeping private or sentimental possessions separate when you prefer.
A cupboard or several roomsWe can discuss help with one storage area or organising across several rooms. The amount of belongings and the storage available affect the time needed. Pictures of the cupboards or room show where things are now and help us discuss which area would be most useful to tackle first.
Putting retained items awayWe arrange the items you keep according to the layout discussed with you. That can mean giving everyday belongings a place together or freeing a shelf for items currently left on a table. New containers, furniture or other purchases are agreed separately before they are added.
New storage and unwanted itemsThe hourly price is for organising time. Furniture supply, installation and disposal are separate jobs unless specifically agreed. We can put aside belongings you decide to remove, but taking them away is arranged separately. Let us know about these plans so the room can be organised around what stays.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Working through the room together.

Home Organizing — surface detail
From sorting to putting belongings in place
Part of the visitHow we help
Choose the area to start withWe begin with the cupboards, shelves or room area you have put first. We discuss what makes that space difficult to use, such as items spread across several places or belongings still in boxes. This gives us a practical starting point for the organising time you have booked.
Look at the storage availableWe look at the cupboards and shelves you would like used, along with the belongings going into them. Existing storage shapes the arrangement. We discuss items that need another place and any space you want left for everyday use before putting things away.
Sort the belongings with youWe work through the included items and follow your decisions about keeping or relocating them. You can separate sentimental possessions or papers to consider yourself. Belongings you no longer want can be put aside for the removal arrangement you choose, with no disposal carried out without agreement.
Arrange the cupboards or shelvesWe organise the retained belongings in the areas agreed, grouping them in a way that fits your household routine. Items can be placed together by their use or the room they belong in. We keep the arrangement consistent with the storage available and the choices made during sorting.
Put items in their chosen placesWe complete the arrangement using the cupboards, shelves and other existing storage included in the visit. We can discuss which things you use most and which can be stored elsewhere. You remain involved in the choices so the organisation is useful for your home after we leave.
Set aside items needing another decisionSome items may need more time or another person’s decision. We keep them separate as agreed, while continuing with the belongings you have decided about. If a storage fitting is damaged or a heavy piece needs moving, that is discussed separately from sorting the contents.
Go through the new arrangementWe look through the organised areas with you and explain where items have been placed. You can ask for a position to be adjusted or identify a group of belongings to tackle at a later visit. We also distinguish items remaining for your decision from those already put away.

Where you need helpWhat we can work on
One cupboard or shelving areaWe can work through a particular cupboard or set of shelves with you, sorting its contents and arranging the items you keep. We discuss how the space is used and where the belongings should go. Private items can remain separate, with any things for removal put aside as you decide.
Belongings across several roomsWhere items are spread across rooms, we can discuss which area to start with and how the storage will be used. We sort and arrange the included belongings, moving items into their agreed places. The appointment follows your decisions and the organising time booked, with additional rooms discussed before they are added.
Packing or unpacking household itemsWhen quoted, we can help pack or unpack the household items you list and arrange them in the existing storage for their destination rooms. We agree the handling limits and materials beforehand. Transport, substantial lifting and installation are separate, so the organising visit can concentrate on the items and storage included.

Questions about home organising
QuestionAnswer
Will you throw things away for me?You decide what to keep or remove. We can set unwanted belongings aside as agreed while sorting, but disposal is separate unless arranged. Tell us if another household member owns items in the area so their choices can be respected too.
Can I book help for just one cupboard?Yes. Describe the cupboard or shelving area and send pictures if useful. We discuss the contents, available storage and organising time. You can begin with one difficult area and ask about other rooms once the first arrangement is working for you.
Do I have to buy storage boxes first? We can work with the storage you already have. We discuss whether extra containers would help before the appointment, so check with us before buying anything. New containers, furniture and installation need a separate agreement.
Does the hourly price include new shelving? It covers the organising time agreed for your household areas. Supplying furniture or installing shelving is separate unless included by agreement. We can arrange belongings in existing storage and discuss anything needing another place before adding purchases or installation work.
Do I need to be involved during the visit? We need your decisions about what stays and how you want the space used. Agree when you will be available, especially for personal or sentimental items. If you cannot decide about something immediately, we can leave it separate as agreed and continue with the rest.
Can you help unpack after a move?Packing or unpacking can be included when listed in your quotation. Tell us which boxes and rooms are involved and what storage is ready. We confirm materials and handling limits first; transport, substantial lifting and fitting new storage are separate arrangements.
