Surface
What we need to know
Stone and polished finishes
Tell us what the surface is made from if you know, and share any supplier instructions. We check delicate stone and polished finishes before cleaning, especially where grease or a stubborn mark has built up.
Coated fittings
Tell us about coatings on shower glass, taps, furniture or kitchen fronts. Different parts of one room can need different care. Missing plating or a worn coating may still show once dirt has been removed.
New paint and fittings
Tell us about new paint, flooring or fittings before the visit. Follow the decorator’s or installer’s instructions about when they can be cleaned. We can clean the other rooms while a new finish needs to be left alone.

Addition
Details to give us
Oven interior
Tell us the oven type and the internal parts you want cleaned, with photographs of its condition. Internal oven work is separate from wiping the outside of the appliance during the kitchen deep clean.
Fridge interior
Ask for fridge-interior cleaning when booking and tell us which compartments need attention. We will explain how to get it ready. Emptying the food beforehand lets us reach the shelves, drawers and inside surfaces.
Carpet treatment
Name the carpeted rooms and give approximate sizes, material information if known and photographs of marks. Specialist carpet cleaning is separate from vacuuming during the room clean and may have its own drying advice afterwards.
Sofa or chairs
List each furniture piece you want cleaned, its covering if known and the marks needing attention. Cleaning the room around a sofa does not treat its fabric; upholstery cleaning needs to be included separately in your quotation.
Deep Cleaning
Before the deep clean
Simple preparation for the work you want
Before the visit
What to do
Clear the surfaces
Put away food containers, toiletries, papers and small belongings from the surfaces you want cleaned. You do not need to empty the home; clear the worktops, shelves and furniture tops that need attention.
Private belongings
Point out valuables and belongings that must not be moved. We can clean around them. Please decide for yourself what to keep, pack or throw away before the cleaning appointment.
Rooms still in use
Tell us when the rooms you want cleaned will be free. The cleaner needs to reach them to do the work, so mention a locked room or a space that will remain occupied before the appointment begins.
Being away
You do not need to stay at home throughout the deep clean. Agree how the cleaner gets in and pass on the room list and important care instructions before leaving or asking someone else to admit them.

Useful details
Hourly price
Deep cleaning starts from £23 per hour. The time needed depends on the rooms and dirt involved. Ask for the price for your actual home.
Amount of work
Describe the dirty areas and send wider room photographs as well as close-ups. A small kitchen with greasy surfaces can need substantial work, while another room may only need extra dusting and ordinary floor cleaning.
Your main priorities
Tell us which tasks matter most if you have a set amount of cleaning time in mind. Extra rooms or treatments may need more time, so discuss additions before the visit.
Check the quotation
Check which rooms, tasks and extra services are included before confirming the appointment. Ask about anything missing from the price, particularly appliance interiors or fabric treatments, so you know what the cleaner is coming to do.
Should I show grease on kitchen fronts when requesting a deep clean?
Yes. Send close-ups and a wider kitchen view to show the grease and its surroundings.
Can you clean the corners during a deep clean?
Yes. We address the corners and nearby surfaces that can be reached around the room furniture.
What if I do not know what a residue is?
Send a photograph and tell us what you know about the mark before cleaning is discussed.
Can I point out areas needing more attention around the toilet?
Yes. Show the toilet areas needing attention and mention any loose or damaged parts beforehand.
Why can a greasy kitchen need extra cleaning time?
Grease, cupboard fronts and fittings add work beyond simply cleaning the kitchen’s open floor.
