Coated or textured glass

Scratches
A scratch is glass damage rather than ordinary dirt. Cleaning does not polish out a damaged surface or replace the pane.
Internal misting
Moisture or marks between sealed panes are not on the reachable surface. Cleaning does not repair or open a failed sealed unit.

Heavy furniture
Arrange necessary heavy movement separately. The cleaner should not have to disconnect equipment or reorganise a room to expose hidden glass.
Keys and entrances
Give the property, entry contact and necessary keys. Mention locked rooms, side gates or managed entrances affecting the requested windows.
The sides wanted
List inside, outside or both for the openings. A mixed request is easier to understand when each room or elevation is named.
Current photographs

Known faults

Should I send separate photos of the side-extension windows?
Yes. Show the extension windows and ground around them, as front-of-house photos will not show those panes.
Can a window-frame crack be noted before the clean?
Yes. Send a photo of the crack before the visit; cleaning the frame will not repair that damage.
Will my preferred date be held without confirmation?
Your date needs confirmation. Please wait for the appointment to be confirmed instead of treating the enquiry as a reserved visit.
Can a mark on the opposite side look like an inside streak?
Yes. Dirt on the other side can show through clean glass; check which side the mark is on before wiping again.
Should the outside photo show the ground below the window?
