We clean oven racks and any extra trays you have asked for, first checking the finish and care instructions for each. Show the areas with heavy burnt-on food as well as the whole cavity so we can see the condition.

What we do
The oven floor
We clean grease and food from the oven floor, including spills baked onto the base. The floor receives attention along with the rest of the cooking compartment.
Cavity walls
We clean splashes and greasy patches from the sides of the cooking compartment. The lining is checked before the walls are cleaned with the rest of the cavity.
Upper cavity surfaces
We clean reachable surfaces above the shelves and around the fittings. Taking out a heating element is not assumed part of reaching the upper cooking compartment.
The back panel
We clean the rear surface and reachable areas around the fan cover. Grease at the back is included with the other listed parts of the cooking cavity.
Corners and edges
We clean food and grease from reachable corners and edges of the cavity. These places receive attention as well as the wider floor and wall surfaces.
A separate cooking compartment
We clean each extra compartment listed for your double oven or other appliance. Both cooking spaces can receive attention rather than only the main lower cavity.

Door or outside surface
What we do
Inner door glass
We clean grease and cooking splashes from the glass facing the cavity. This includes the reachable inner door surface beside the cooking compartment and its edges.
Outer door glass
We clean fingerprints and everyday marks from the outside glass included with your oven. The front receives attention alongside the inner glass you have asked us to clean.
Door edges
We clean grease from reachable door edges and the surrounding frame. Sticky patches around the edge are included with the other door surfaces listed for the visit.
The handle
We clean the outside handle you want included, giving attention to the grip and marks left by everyday use. It is cleaned with the surrounding oven front.
The control panel
We clean the reachable control-panel surface, taking care around printed numbers and trim. This gives the front controls attention alongside the handle and other included outside surfaces.
Glass between panes
We check the door design before discussing cleaning between panes. Some glass cannot be reached without dismantling, and sealed or damaged panels are not assumed to come apart.

What we do
Shelf racks
We clean grease and food from the racks included with your appliance. Every listed rack receives attention, including extra ones added when the cleaning was arranged.
Rack bars and corners
We clean around the rack bars and joins as well as the middle. Rust or a damaged coating can remain after the cooking grease has been removed.
Shelf supports
We clean included shelf supports where they can be reached or removed. The model and care instructions help us check the right handling for these particular parts.
The grill pan
We check the material of the grill pan you want cleaned, then include it with the other listed parts. Show the pan and its removable pieces.
Additional baking trays
We clean extra trays that have been included after checking their finish. Tell us about personal cookware separately so the right pieces are listed with your oven.
Sliding runners
We check the instructions before cleaning telescopic or sliding runners. Their moving parts can need different care from a plain rack, so the model matters here.
From checking the appliance to looking at the cleaned parts
Part of the visit
What happens
Check the oven
We look over the oven and confirm the parts to clean. Show heavy grease or burnt food and tell us about any known faults before starting.
Check the finishes
We check the lining, glass, trim and accessories. The maker’s instructions help us choose care for parts that differ from the ordinary enamel inside the oven.
Clean the included parts
We clean the included oven surfaces and removable parts, giving attention to the dirt on each. This brings the listed cavity, door and racks into the same visit.
Clean the door
We clean the door surfaces listed for your model and explain any glass we cannot reach. The door is checked alongside the other cleaned oven parts.
Look at the finish
We look over the cleaned oven and parts with you. Ask about a particular area so we can talk about the finish you see on that surface.
Explain using it afterwards
We explain the aftercare before you use the oven again. Ask if anything is unclear about your model rather than follow instructions meant for a different appliance.

Care for the oven’s different finishes
The cavity and outside panels do not all need the same treatment
Finish or feature
What we look at
Enamel
We check the enamel before cleaning the cooking deposits from it. This helps us choose care for the finish on the floor and walls of your oven.
Door glass
We check whether a mark is on the inside or outside, then clean the glass we can reach. Dirt trapped between sealed panes may need separate attention.
Stainless-steel panels
We clean the stainless-steel exterior panels you include, taking care of their finish. Grease and fingerprints receive attention on the front along with the other listed surfaces.
Decorative trim
We clean around decorative trim and printed controls with care for the coating. These finer surfaces receive different attention from the harder lining inside the cooking cavity.
Catalytic or pyrolytic linings
We check the instructions for catalytic or pyrolytic linings before cleaning. An oven visit does not automatically include running a self-cleaning cycle or treating every panel alike.
Steam or combination functions
Tell us about steam or combination functions so we can check the right model. Descaling and internal servicing remain separate from cleaning the visible cooking surfaces.

Single and double oven cleaning prices
Per-appliance prices for the stated size and rack count
Oven or item
Price
Details
Single oven, 60cm, two racks
£75
Send the model and rack count so the price describes your single oven. Mention extra pieces or a different width before the booking is arranged.
Double oven, 60cm, three racks
£93
Show both compartments and list their racks. Two separate installed ovens should be described individually rather than assumed to be one standard double oven.
Different oven sizes
Ask for a quote
Give the width and model for a wider cooker or another type of appliance. The standard 60cm prices do not describe every oven.
Additional racks or accessories
Confirm the total
Count the extra pieces and say what you want cleaned. Personal cookware and extra trays should be listed before the full price is confirmed.
Hob or extractor
Separate addition
List either appliance if you want it cleaned with the oven. Their price is separate unless the combined quotation clearly includes those additional items.
The complete booking
Ask for the full price
Check the appliance, compartments and extras included, and mention parking or entry information. We discuss the complete price before arranging the visit for your kitchen.
Leave the appliance cool and make room to reach it
Before we arrive
What to do
A cool oven
Please leave the oven to cool before the visit and ask about preparation when booking. Mention any cooking planned beforehand so the appliance is ready for cleaning, not still in use.
Food and cookware
Take food and personal pans out of the oven, keeping the included racks easy to identify. List any extra cookware you want considered rather than leave it mixed with the appliance parts.
Space near the door
Clear loose belongings from the handle and nearby work area. Tell us if an island, furniture or cupboard prevents the door opening fully or restricts reaching the inside of the oven.
Model and photographs
Send a photo of the front and open compartments, plus a safely visible model label if available. You do not need to take the appliance apart to show us its condition.
Products already used
Tell us which cleaners or self-cleaning cycles have already been used. Mention anything left inside and any change to the finish so we know what happened before our visit.
Existing faults
Tell us about loose fittings, damaged glass, error messages or other faults before booking. Some problems need repairing before the oven can be cleaned; the appointment is not a repair visit.

Item or concern
What to know
Hobs
We can discuss hob cleaning alongside the oven. Tell us whether it is gas, ceramic, induction or another type and list removable supports or other parts you want considered.
Extractors
Ask about the extractor separately and show its position. Exterior panels and filters have different care needs; concealed ductwork, replacement filters and motor repairs are not automatically part of cleaning it.
Range cookers and AGA appliances
These have separate cleaning services. Send the model, width and compartments so we can discuss the actual cooker rather than apply a standard single-oven price to a different appliance.
Repairs and replacement parts
Cleaning does not mend heating faults, replace glass or fit a new door seal. Tell us about known problems first so the cleaning is not mistaken for an appliance-repair appointment.
Permanent surface damage
Scratches, corrosion, chips and heat damage may remain after the dirt has gone. We explain those differences so you know what cleaning can improve and what would need repair or replacement.
Questions about the result
If something concerns you afterwards, show the particular part in a current photo. Include the oven model and explain what you see so we can discuss the right appliance and surface.
YOUR QUESTIONS
Questions about oven cleaning in Waltham Cross
Your oven cleaning questions
Question
Answer
Should gas-cooker instructions be supplied?
Yes. Send the cleaning pages for your gas cooker so we can check how its parts should be cared for.
Are replacement glass panels included?
No. Buying and fitting new glass is a repair job, separate from cleaning the oven.
Should ceiling deposits be shown in photographs?
Yes. Show the whole upper area so we can see the dirt and anything blocking it.
Should smoke from an unused oven be reported?
Yes. Unexpected smoke can mean an appliance problem, not simply an oven that needs cleaning.
Should oven cleaning happen after kitchen building work?
Tell us when the building work finishes so we can arrange cleaning after the kitchen is ready and the fresh dust has settled.
